January:

 Winter Carnival: Post Christmas month can be long and sort of a downer after the Christmas and New year festivities. So, we hold a carnival with fun for all. Adults make sure the children have a wonderful time. The adults have a wonderful time watching the children being excited.

 


February:

Pancake Supper: This kicks off the season of Lent which usually starts in February . Pancakes are consumed, friendships enjoyed and then we worship with our Ash Wednesday service with its marking of asked on out foreheads.



March:


Basket Auction: The winter is dragging on and it is time for some easy going fun. Members prepare baskets to be “auctioned” at this annual event. The basket designers/ donators are always interested to see who is attracted to their creations! We have over 125 baskets! This is one of our best fundraisers!




April


Spring Clean Up:  This is when we all get together to beautify the church  grounds.. Getting it ready for all the of the exciting months ahead.




 May:


Spring  Craft Fair: This event draws vendors from across long island and is always such fun.  We even have food trucks to bring in some flavor!

Mother’s Day Tea: Beautiful Tea party set up to honor all moms after each service on the Sunday before Mothers Day.

Community Yard Sale: The HUGE yard sale brings in people from all over long island to sell their items and for people of the community to come together and enjoy a treasure hunt of their own.




June:

 Bus trip: These one-day guided bus trips vary . We have visited Philadelphia, done walking tours of the city, Hudson Valley Tours and more.



July:

 Fishing Trip: Off we go to Captree. Our chartered boat fills and we enjoy home made lunches as well as fishing. The sunset is incredible and worth the trip in itself.

 Vow Renewal: We also celebrate couples on one of the July Sundays as they renew their vows complete with a mini wedding service and wedding reception to follow.

 


August:

Block party: This even is a ton of fun as we gather with family, friends and neighbors to celebrate the summer.



September:

The Blessing of the Animals: This service is very special experience. Animals are also God’s creations. So please make sure to include your extended non–human family members.



October:

Pumpkin Patch: Come and Experience on of the Largest church Sponsored Pumpkin Patches in the entire county.



November / December

Christmas tree lot: Its is with great excitement that the day after Thanksgiving the Christmas tree Lot opens to the public. Our teens do the majority of the work and their spirit is infectious!

 Christmas Craft Fair: This awesome event is the kick off to Christmas and holiday shopping. Over 30 vendors of all types of crafts and gifts, food and fellowship…
